As a life-long learner, I am drawn to a myriad of topics.  My brain lights up as I try to find meaningful connections to seemingly unrelated topics.  For example, diving into TED Talks that are not under the category of "education", but have changed the way I teach and connect to my students and colleagues.  They've influenced the creative environment I provide for my students and how I see the world.  (RSA: Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce)
